Chucktown Brewdown VI: Homebrew Festival

Chucktown Brewdown is one of the Lowcountry’s favorite homebrew festivals, where beer fans and curious drinkers come together to taste what’s next in craft beer. Each year, talented local brewers bring their best recipes and boldest ideas to the taps for one afternoon of great beer and community.

This year, we’re doing things differently. Instead of a set style, all teams were given the same mix of grains, hops, and yeast—what they create from there is entirely up to them. Some will put a twist on a familiar favorite, while others might deliver something unexpected.

Over the years, Chucktown Brewdown has been a launching point for brewers who went on to open their breweries, like Coffin Island Brewing and Wyrd Sisters Brewing.
